How to uninstall a program in Windows 7

Uninstall a program in Windows 7

Windows 7 is most popular OS as for May, 17 2014. Most programs are mainly developed for Windows 7 and only then made compatible for Windows 8 or XP. Standard uninstall process in Windows 7 is simple and similar to this process in Windows XP. You are going to Control Panel, Programs and Features, Uninstall a program and uninstall desired (unwanted) software. This procedure will run standard uninstaller of a program and remove main folders and registry keys. But many programs create additional data during their life on your PC – logs, backups etc. This unnecessary info holds extra space on your hard-drive and can slow down your PC a bit. There are special programs to find and remove this leftover info after installation called – uninstallers. Today I will show you 3 of them:
Revo Uninstaller Pro – most powerful and famous uninstaller, can find leftover files, folders, registry keys etc. Has a lot of useful tools to perform regular maintenance of your operating system. It also can uninstall programs with broken uninstallers with special “Forced Uninstall” feature. Also has less functional free version.
Free Uninstall It – our new program where we try to collect best features from our competitors on the market, focusing on powerful leftover items scan and safety. It has one huge advantage – it is FREE.
IObit Uninstaller – it deserved its place in my list for its beautiful interface and several extremely helpful tools available along with it. For example, module for removing browser add-ons and plugins – cool feature, in our age of annoying advertising, to remove toolbars, adware extensions etc.
